Another Eden Begins Main Theme, Score, and the Collection Box OST

Another Eden Begins sells its music in the same breath as its scenario. Nintendo’s US listing, Steam, and Studio Prisma’s official site all name Yasunori Mitsuda for the main theme and Procyon Studio for a score that mixes traditional folk instruments with orchestra. Masato Kato handles scenario and direction at Studio Prisma. That Chrono Trigger / Chrono Cross / Xenogears credit cluster is not fan wishful thinking; it is the published creator block. This page is the music sheet. It is not a ripped track list, and it will not invent battle-theme filenames.

The full game launches 17 September 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. A free six-chapter demo opened 2 September 2026. If you want to hear the command window and the field themes before you buy, that trial is the honest sample. The final trailer posted the same day is the marketing cut; the demo is the sitting-down listen.

What official copy actually says

Steam’s about-this-game block: a richly woven tale with full voice acting, a main theme song composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, and music incorporating traditional folk instruments and an orchestra by Procyon Studios. Nintendo repeats the same sentence on both the Switch and Switch 2 Edition pages. The English official site splits the creator cards in two:

• Scenario / Direction — Masato Kato, Studio Prisma. Notable works listed: Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears.
• Main Theme — Yasunori Mitsuda, Procyon Studio. Same three notable works.

Japanese official copy uses 光田康典 and プロキオン・スタジオ. That is the same person and the same studio. Procyon is Mitsuda’s house; the folk-and-orchestra line is how Begins describes the rest of the score around the theme.

Full English and Japanese voice acting on the main story sits beside that score. Credits for the 19 playable names live on the voice cast and companion roster. Music and voices are separate products that share the same cutscenes.

Physical soundtrack — Japan boxes only

Japan’s official product page lists an original soundtrack disc inside two physical SKUs:

• Collection Box — still listed for preorder on the Japanese site at 10,480 yen (Switch 2) / 9,980 yen (Switch). Contents include the game card, the early-bird serial-code flyer, the original soundtrack, a SteelBook, and a slipcase.
• Special Collection Box — 20,480 yen / 19,980 yen. Same soundtrack plus paper knife, era pin badges, a special booklet, and a Light Flyer Store box. The official Japanese site now marks both Special Collection Boxes as sales ended.

Digital Switch, Switch 2, and Steam purchases do not include that disc. Western physical copies through Aksys Games are planned for 2027; do not assume they repeat the Japan OST packing. SKU math lives on editions. Early-bird serial codes in those boxes are for the original Cat Beyond Time and Space client, not a music unlock inside Begins.

This wiki will not transcribe a track list from a disc that is still in a preorder box. When the Collection Box booklet or a digital release publishes titles, this page will gain a table. Until then, the official line is: Mitsuda theme, Procyon folk and orchestra, Japan box disc.

How to hear it before 17 September

• Play the demo. Chapters 1–6 run present-era Baruoki into the Moonlight Forest and on toward Elzion. Field music and battle stings in that stretch are the real preview. See the demo walkthrough and locations.
• Watch the final trailer (English ID HTdLYm94TZA on Wright Flyer Studios’ channel, posted 2 September 2026) and the longer release-date film on the combat guide. Trailers are mixed for impact; they are not a substitute for the in-game loop.
• Do not import a mobile-game playlist and call it Begins. The original Another Eden has years of event tracks. Begins is a reconstructed Part 1 campaign with a closed score. Begins versus the original is the product line, not a Spotify argument.

What music is not

It is not a difficulty setting. It is not a crafting material. It does not change Another Force or New Game+ endings. A Collection Box disc does not include DLC Character Packs. The $5 Upgrade Pack upgrades Switch to Switch 2 Edition video (4K / up to 60 FPS); it does not add extra tracks.

Steam lists a great-soundtrack tag among user-defined labels. That is community tagging, not a published OST store. Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing on the store page are platform features; they are documented on system requirements, not here.

If you came for Kato and Mitsuda because of Chrono Trigger, the honest pitch is the one Studio Prisma already printed: same scenario director, same theme composer, a premium single-player reconstruction of Part 1, not a sequel to 1995.
