Another Eden Begins Demo Walkthrough: Chapters 1–6

The expected Baruoki-to-Elzion opening the free trial covers.

Demo Walkthrough

The Another Eden Begins demo opened 2 September 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Official trial notes are short and firm: you can play main story chapters 1–6, and story progress plus character stats can transfer into the full game that launches 17 September 2026. This page is a walkthrough of the expected opening those chapters cover, based on the official prologue and the well-known start of Part 1 in the original campaign. It is not a room-by-room puzzle dump, and it does not invent boss hit points.

If you have not installed the trial yet, use the beginner guide and demo news first. If you already care more about the command window than the plot, keep the combat guide in another tab.

What the official prologue sets up

The site’s prologue is the promise of the whole game: someone disappears in front of Aldo, a city falls, and he swears to cross time again to save a lost future before darkness closes. The playable opening that fans already know from Part 1 is more specific, and it is the route the six-chapter demo is built to deliver.

Aldo and his sister Feinne live in Baruoki in the present — 300 AD, under the Kingdom of Miglance, in a world that runs on prisma crystal energy. The Beast King takes Feinne. Aldo pursues into the Moonlight Forest, fights a beast, and is thrown 800 years forward. He wakes in 1100 AD, after the planet’s soil was ruined, in the shining city of Elzion hanging in the sky. The goal does not change: save Feinne, and save a future that has already gone wrong.

That is the spine. Chapters 1–6 are the first six main-story slices of that spine, not a side-story sampler.

Expected beats inside the six chapters

Treat the following as the opening the demo is expected to cover, not as a spoiler script with every line of dialogue.

Baruoki, present day. You meet Aldo as a swordsman who has not yet shouldered the whole world. Feinne is kindness with a hidden power. Daily life in Baruoki exists so the kidnapping lands. Talk to people. Learn how field movement and symbol encounters work — enemies are on the map, not invisible dice rolls. Controls explains the idea without guessing your button layout.

The Beast King and the Moonlight Forest. The pursuit is the first real dungeon stretch. Expect forest paths, symbol fights, and a beast encounter that the story treats as a turning point. We will not post fabricated HP bars or “safe” turn orders for that fight. Use a balanced party, keep a healer thought in mind, and let Another Force be a tool rather than a panic button. See party building if your line cannot both hit and recover.

The 800-year throw. The time jump is the thesis of the game. You are not touring a theme park; you have been displaced. When the tone shifts from village to sky city, you are in the future era.

Elzion, 1100 AD. Humanity escaped ruined, radiated soil and built a floating metropolis. Official copy calls it a beacon of peace that still casts a bitter shadow. This is where the party starts looking like a party. The well-known opening of the original Part 1 brings in Amy, a hunter whose prey is the source of her suffering, and Riica, an android whose mission is to be helpful. Those two are the companions most players should expect to meet while the demo is still teaching future-era maps.

What we will not list. Exact switch puzzles, hidden chest coordinates, and boss percentages are not published here because they are not in the official trial brief. If a chest is on a ledge, walk the ledge. If a prompt tells you to talk to someone, talk to them. The demo is short enough that exploration is the point.

How to play the trial like it matters

Chapters 1–6 are also a combat classroom. Symbol encounters on the field drop you into command battles. Build around roles — attackers, supporters, healers — and learn chain skills and the Another Force gauge while the enemies are still teaching tools rather than walls. The pre-release tier list is a kit preview only; do not rebuild your demo party around a gacha ranking that does not apply here.

Leave story side content for later if it threatens a messy save. Encounter quests, character quests, and kinship quests are real systems in the full game, but the demo’s job is to get you through six main chapters with stats you are willing to keep. When you are done, follow save transfer so Switch, Steam, or Steam Deck can hand that file to the 17 September campaign.

Sibling pages: Getting Started, combat, New Game+, controls, and Begins versus the original. Antiquity (20,000 BC, four great elementals, King Palsifal’s tower) is part of the full three-era map; do not expect the six-chapter trial to finish that timeline. Treat chapters 1–6 as a dress rehearsal: learn the map language of Baruoki and Elzion, then stop at a clean save so the full game can pick up the thread.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many chapters are in the demo?

Official trial notes say main story chapters 1–6. That is the whole playable story slice. The full game launches 17 September 2026.

Will I meet Amy and Riica in the demo?

The well-known opening of Part 1 reaches Elzion and those two companions. Label that as the expected opening the six chapters cover, not as a datamined party-unlock table.

Does this walkthrough list boss HP?

No. We do not invent hit points or puzzle answers. Use roles, healing, and Another Force as taught in the combat guide.

Can I keep my demo levels?

Character stats and story progress can transfer. Read the save-transfer steps before you install the full game over a blank save.

Is antiquity in the demo?

The full campaign spans present, future, and antiquity. The trial is chapters 1–6 of the main story, which the opening spends on Baruoki and the jump to Elzion. Do not assume 20,000 BC is finished in the demo.

Where should I go after the credits of chapter 6?

There are no demo credits that unlock New Game+. Stop on a clean save, then wait for 17 September or pre-order and follow save transfer.
